In order to further improve biology classroom teaching, promote the education teaching quality and form a favorable atmosphere of mutual improvement, mutual learning and common progress, from 29th to 30th November, 2018, the 6th Session Biology Teachers’ High Quality Class Competition in Anqing City was held in Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Section of the west campus. There were 25 teachers participating in this contest. The classroom teaching and lesson instruction were both splendid. Meanwhile, Anqing Foreign Language School’s teacher Zhu Jingya attended this competition.
During the competition, each teacher showcased their unique teaching style and solid teaching skills. Besides, the teaching links were interlocking with innovation and ingenious points, which effectively stimulated students’ enthusiasm to participate in the classroom teaching and fully reflected the teaching philosophy in the new curriculum reform. What’s more, the other teachers from Anqing Foreign Language School’s Biology teaching and research group took an active part in this event, who hoped to accumulate their teaching experience and improve the basic skills of classroom teaching through viewing and emulating the competition.
It’s worth mentioning that our students displayed their excellent learning style during this grand event. They actively cooperated with each teacher to conduct wonderful teaching presentation and positively expressed their feelings, which made the classroom atmosphere active and orderly as well as won unanimous praise from the judges and the teachers who attended the contest.
In conclusion, this competition not only let each contestant demonstrate themselves, but also had them construct a fabulous atmosphere to learn from each other and make common progress and development! We have reasons to believe that more study, more thinking, more research and more communication shall bring sweet perfumes from all around.
